A lighter foundation for a Summer Wedding
I have been kept really busy this year with Bridal make-up. Everyone in the industry are saying this has been the busiest year for weddings in a long time. I bet most of our readers have a wedding to go to this year or a special occasion? I always think it can feel funny to you apply a full make-up to yourself in the daytime, especially in the summer when we hopefully have some warmer weather. The Youngblood Moisture Tint is an ideal product to wear instead of your normal foundation to get radiant skin all day. The lightweight moisturizer does a triple duty: It leaves skin comfortably hydrated, provides sheer, even-toned coverage and shields skin from environmental damage.
Youngblood Moisture Tint boasts plenty of mineral ingredients that act as an extension to your skincare regime. It contains Kiwi extract and vitamin E, antioxidants to fight harmful free-radicals; licorice root extract to calm redness and inflammation; and menthol, which provides a cooling effect.
I am now finding with my Brides that they are wanting their make-up to look fresh faced and as natural as possible. To achieve this look I was using the Youngblood Liquid Foundation as it has a light feel to it and also gives good coverage. I have recently been trying the new Youngblood Moisture Tint and everyone loves it! It is so light on the skin you don’t need to worry about wearing something on your skin in the warm weather. It gives a youthful look to the skin and lasts well. It does not have as much coverage as the Liquid foundation or the loose or pressed mineral foundation but for those you just need to even out the skin tone and get a radiant look to the skin it is ideal.

Toning up your skin before going on holiday??
Its getting to the time of year when we are all starting to think about our summer holidays, and getting our bodies bikini ready.
As well as any physical activities such as sports, going to the gym etc. it is also a good idea to tone up your skin. Try showering with a body loofer or use a body brush. Not only will this help remove any dead skin cells but it will also increase your circulation, therefore increasing the blood flow, keeping your skin nice and healthy looking. Always apply a body moisturiser (using the St Tropez Body Moisturiser can help to give you a deeper, richer tan like as it does when using the 3 step process) especially after a shower or bath.
Remember to apply a sun protector before you go out in those sun rays. Not only are you putting yourself at a higher risk of skin cancer but also being in the sun can cause pigmentation problems that may not be visible now, but as the skin ages you may start to notice them then. The sun is also very ageing on the skin too, so keep your skin looking its age-protect it!
Just as important the ‘infamous water drinking’- not only is it necessary for our bodies to function properly, but it is by far the best and most basic way to keep our skin healthy. Recommendations are a minimum of 2 litres of water a day for women and 2.5 litres for men. Try adding a slice of lemon or lime into your glass to liven it up a bit.
Until next time,

New Youngblood Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint!
I am very excited about the new Mineral radiance Moisture T
int from Youngblood cosmetics. Their latest product is ideal for the (hopefully) hot summer days. I always feel that if you wear your normal foundation in the sun it doesn’t ever feel right. It is always good to have a lighter product to wear on holiday or on those lovely sunny days so you don’t feel conscious of wearing too much foundation.
Youngblood’s Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint is similar to a tinted moisturiser. It leaves the skin feeling comfortably hydrated, provides sheer, even-toned coverage and shields skin from environmental damage. It also contains free-radical fighting anti-oxidants.
Youngblood’s moisture tint comes it 4 different shades. The Golden Sun shade is ideal for highlighting areas too. Apply the moisture tint with clean fingertips to cleansed and moisturised skin.

Youngblood’s Secret Weapon…
Hi-Def Hydrating Mineral Perfecting Powder is Youngblood Cosmetic’s secret weapon. It’s the talk of the industry.
I absolutely love it! I’ve been using it on photo shoots, catwalks and on every make-up I have done since it was released by Youngblood.
The sheer powder expertly conceals imperfection, refines pores and naturally absorbs excess oil. It’s like magic the way it controls shine on the skin. It contains extracts of licorice to help calm any redness. This powder will make your skin smooth and look air-brushed.
Apply to your skin after your foundation but before bronzer or blusher. Go on…. Try it!

10 Steps to prepare for your valentine.
10 Steps to prepare for your Valentine.
1. Defuzz yourself. Make sure you have any unwanted hair removed. Even if nobody will see your hairy legs you will feel more confidant knowing it is done.
2. Have a nice relaxing soak in the bath. Use an exfoliater (Try St.Tropez Body Polisher) to smooth and soften your skin.
3. Moisturise: Why not build up a little colour at the same time as moisturising? St Tropez Everyday range is fantastic, not only does it moisturise AND help firm the skin, but also gradually builds up a natural tan!
4. Nails: Make sure all your nails are the same lengths. Even if your nails are short they will look neat and tidy all the same length. Give your hands a quick and easy treat with Proto-col Instant Manicure. When you are painting your nails make sure you use a base coat before applying colour varnish. Without a base coat your nails are more likely to stain from the coloured varnish. Also applying a topcoat over the varnish will give your nails with a nice glossy look and help the varnish last longer.
5. Eyebrows: Your eyebrows can change the way you look. If you are not confident with shaping your eyebrows then why not let a professional shape them for you. There are a variety of ways to shape eyebrows from tweezing, waxing or threading.
6. Make sure you apply your make-up after drying and styling your hair, otherwise you may find you get a little hot and flushed under that drier. Try using a finishing product to give your hair a healthy shine. TIGI Bed Head Superficial Smoothing Liquid 100ml or TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Weightless Shine Spray 200ml
7. Applying your make-up: Depending on what kind of look you would like to create, I usually apply eye make-up first before applying the foundation. This is so once I have applied the eye shadow I can wipe away any excess shadow that may have fallen onto the face. For an evening make-up try using a light coloured eye shadow with shimmer to it and apply it all over the eyelid up to the brow bone. This will then accentuate your nicely shaped brows. Then add a stronger coloured shadow to your eyelid blending a darker shadow on the outer corner of your eyelid and onto the socket line.
8. Your Lashes: Hopefully your date will be gazing into your eyes during the night so make you’re your eyelashes look their best. Try using our heated eyelash curlers to gently curl your lashes. They give amazing results. For best results apply your mascara first and let it start to dry then use the
eyecurl.
9. Your Lips: More colour on your lips are in this season although you do need your lipstick to compliment your outfit. Try one of the Youngbloods Lip Glosses to get that extra glossy look!
10. Put on your perfume, jewellery and glad rags! I would advise getting dressed after you have finished your hair and make-up otherwise you might be going out with stray hairs on your back and a top speckled with make-up!
Enjoy your Valentines Day!
